‘The Sport of Life’ goes into S/S09 mode

14 January 2009

The upcoming ellesse S/S09 global campaign was shot at London's Spring studios . The artwork will be finalised in the upcoming weeks and global roll out is planned for Spring 09, to coincide with ellesse turning 50.

Without revealing too much, the creative heads behind the A/W08 campaign still use “The Sport of Life” strapline and continue to draw inspiration from the futuristic aesthetic. The concept evolves and becomes more creatively and visually complex. Aim is to find this perfect balance between heritage and modern brand iconography.

Fashion photographer Miguel Reverigo, who shot the campaign, has the ability to create warm, engaging, almost portrait like pictures. His recognisable style can be seen in campaigns for Uniqlo and Vivienne Westwood. Also on a recent cover of Numéro magazine featuring Naomi Cambell and on the cover of Wonderland magazine with Julianne Moore. Models Renata Sozzi from Nathalie Models Paris and Jason Muir from Premier fronted the campaign.
