ellesse launches a competition for all budding photographers

ellesse and Lonely Planet have joined forces to create ‘Sport & The City’. It is a global competition to document any sporting event or imagery that makes your city special.
We are not just looking for everyday sports reportage but images that truly capture the spirit and emotion of a city – each photograph should look to capture 3 fundamental principles - Sport, Style and Creativity.
The competition will launch the 7th June and run until 31st July. 4 winners will be chosen by a judging panel, including a Lonely Planet Expert, and will be given the opportunity to travel to one of four different European cities, London, Barcelona, Rome or Athens while documenting their trip with a new SLR digital camera. Competition winners will be announced mid August.
There will be two weekly prizes to be won, provided by ellesse and Lonely Planet, alongside the weekly “photo of the week” winner receiving a smaller camera.
Our facebook page will be taken over with Sport and The City from the launch date where we will announce winners, upload winning images and participants can win ellesse and Lonely Planet prizes.
From the 7th June this site will be active for you to upload your images and vote on them, so keep this date free and until then photograph your sport and city at its best!
