ellesse will be present at Bread and Butter Berlin, 20-22 January 2010, with an iconic heritage collection. The range marks a return to the beginnings and finds its inspiration in the vast and colorful history of the brand.
ellesse was born in 1959 in Perugia, Italy by charismatic tailor and personality Leonardo Servadio. The brand has been mixing the boundaries between fashion and sports ever since.
Recognised for its innovative ski clothing, ellesse later extended its production to clothes for other sports such as tennis, marathon, football and motor sports. With cutting edge and revolutionary design it quickly evolved into one of the most iconic brands of the 80s.
In its 50 years of existence, ellesse with its Italian style, quality and comfort, the appealing design and fun attitude, has been praised by sportsmen and loved by the international jet set. From Cortina to Val-d'Isèr, and from royal families to Hollywood stars. Ski or après ski, It was the brand to be seen in.
This January at BBB the heritage collection preview will feature replicas of key products of the last 50 years, designs that ellesse has been known for. Pieces will include iconic ellesse jackets, knitwear and footwear. The mood is winning and hedonistic, classic and strong, but always fun and elegant.
