Calvin Kubayi, patriotic Bafana supporter was at the gym one day when he had a flash of inspiration. He created a way to join all South Africans in one moment, the Vuvuzela Moment.
Calvin wants all of Mzansi to stand up and create history. He says, "Lets go out there and do what Mzansi does best...blow our Vuvuzelas."
The Vuvuzela Moment will take place on the 9th of June at 12 'o clock, lasting for 5 minutes. At this time, Calvin urges all of Mzansi to stop whatever they are doing, grab their vuvuzela’s and give the biggest blow possible, from the depths of your lungs and hearts. If you are on the road with no vuvuzela in sight, give a loud hoot and join in to create the sound of patriotism that will be felt (and heard) from Cape Town, to Mpumalanga to Kwazulu Natal and Limpopo!
Calvin is hoping that this initiative will bring Mzansi to a standstill, making the world stand up and take notice of our amazing pride and colourful heritage.
So, tell one, tell all, spread the word and lets ensure that all South Africans are poised to give the world the most unique precursor to the World Cup, the Vuvuzela Moment.
