Hot off a record year on the ATP tour and a career high ranking of 12th, Feliciano is an exciting addition to the ellesse ambassador team. Lopez won the Eastbourne ATP Singles title in 2014, and has set 2015 off to a great start reaching the 4th round of the Australian Open. He enjoyed success in contesting his 12th ATP World Tour final at Quito, narrowly missing out to Estrella Burgos. At Wimbledon in 2014, Feliciano played in his 50th straight Grand Slam – an impressive record! He was voted best dressed player at the Australian Open 2015 wearing ellesse and is always in the fashion press for his looks and style. Feliciano is also very fond of ellesse heritage polos and shorts! Off the court, Lopez is a big swimming, football and water sports fan – a true ellesse ambassador! We can’t wait to work closely with Lopez as he looks forward to the rest of 2015.

We are really happy to bring Monica into the ellesse tennis family, joining Elina as our second ambassador on the WTA. She is the number 1 Latin American female tennis player and winner of the 2014 WTA Rising Star tournament. Monica enjoyed a landslide win owing to her popularity both on the court for her passion and style but also off the court for her bubbly personality and positivity. She won 1 WTA title in Strasbourg in 2014 which she is looking to defend this year. She has her very own catch phrase ‘Pica Power!’ and is an excellent embodiment of ellesse.

ATP Ranking: 114 (correct March 2015)
Age: 36
Nationality: German

A global favourite of the Tour and fans, Tommy Haas has won 15 ATP Singles titles and reached four Grand Slam Singles semi-finals. Ranked as high as World Number 2 in 2002, Tommy’s success has also seen him win a Silver Olympic medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Announced as a global ambassador of ellesse in January 2014, alongside Elina Svitolina, Tommy embodies our attitude to life. Playing sport the ellesse way means having fun, loving life and bringing people together. Tommy has told us that being a professional player is to live his dream every day, and it’s obvious for all to see! Fans crowd into venues to watch him play (his one-handed backhand has been described by Nick Bollettieri as ‘the best backhand in the world’) and he’s always happy to say hi and sign autographs.

2015 is an important year for Tommy and we look forward to seeing him back on the court.

WTA Ranking: 27 (correct March 2015)
Age: 20
Nationality: Ukrainian

At the young age of 20, Elina Svitolina has three WTA Singles titles and the Roland Garros girls’ singles tournament (2010) to her name. She is an energetic and determined player who broke into the Top 30 in 2014.

This is Elina’s second year on team ellesse and it has started well. She matched her Australian Open result last year, reaching the third round which she lost in a tight 3 setter against World Number 1 Serena Williams. Elina’s positive attitude on-court is matched by her love of life, family and friends off the tennis court. She describes her style as ‘classic with bright details’ – colour being one of Elina’s main attractions to ellesse.

Elina thinks that the best moments of her career are yet to come. We can’t wait to share them with her.
